In the exhibition The place where what Iis true has been made up, John K. Raustein explores how memory, identity, and bodily experience can be expressed through textile. Large-scale installations in shades of petroleum blue create passages, thresholds, and boundaries that both open and enclose the space. The exhibition is the second part of a trilogy and continues the artist’s exploration of belonging, queer identity, and the shifting boundaries between experience, narrative, and reality.

I utstillingen Der hvor det som er sant er funnet på undersøker John K. Raustein hvordan minner, identitet og kroppslige erfaringer kan gis form gjennom tekstil. Store installasjoner i petroleumsblå nyanser danner passasjer, terskler og avgrensninger som både åpner og lukker rommet. Utstillingen er andre del av en trilogi og viderefører kunstnerens arbeid med tilhørighet, skeiv identitet og grensene mellom erfaring, fortelling og virkelighet.
